HADSAP: Bridging the Gap
Last March 21, 2024, HADSAP welcomed its members to the first General Membership Meeting this year at the 4LIFE Training Center in Rockwell Business Center, Sheridan, Mandaluyong City.
It was well attended with the addition of new members that were given a warm welcome and inaugurated on that day. HADSAP President and Chairman of the Board, Ms. Leni Olmedo presented the 2023 accomplishments and financial report as well as the 2024 goals and priorities to its members.
For 2024, HADSAP will focus on awareness, credibility, and capacity building. For these to happen, HADSAP with continue to promote its advocacy with the help of its partners and network. In addition to this, HADSAP will seek ways to continue to help its members by offering added value services like EPR-PRO.
HADSAP is set towards Bridging the Gap, specifically in Nutrition because of the major consequences of micronutrient deficiencies and this is a top priority.
HADSAP President, Ms. Leni Olmedo pointed out to its members that sustainability is a key industry goal and as one of the industry stakeholders, HADSAP can improve, protect and enhance its reputation by coordinating and cooperating with the government on sustainability. HADSAP can make a difference and can be a leader among the industry sectors on the topic of sustainability. The IADSA’s Guiding Principles on Sustainability for Supplement sector is a good reference for this purpose.
